Die schmaleren Zeilen zeigen die römische und hebräische Textvariante, zusammen mit angelsächsischer bzw. französischer Übersetzung.

In addition to various inline and marginal topic headings, the book has in-text cross-references and a very large collection of references to particular lettered locations on the geometric models. Page, section and other division numbers permit accurate reference, so that readers can follow complex mathematical arguments.
Also of interest are the frequent references to geometric arguments elsewhere in the book, used as support for the current proof. Alternate proofs are quoted and attributed to their originators.
